More about membership...
You don’t have to be Scottish to join! You could be a supporter of our programs, friends or family of a student in the Scottish arts, a member of one of the groups we support, or someone who enjoys attending our many events! To keep it all going and moving forward, we need you!
Your membership helps us in many ways. It helps us to subsidize the many classes in highland dance, bagpipes, genealogy work group. We have a competing pipes & drums band holding weekly rehearsals at our facility. It helps us maintain the Scottish Cultural Center, our building located at 917 Louden Avenue in downtown Dunedin, which was named the City’s first Historic Landmark. It also helps us produce the best in Celtic music concerts, Whisky Tastings and traditional Scottish events. Every part helps us promote Dunedin’s unique Scottish Heritage.
We have made it easy by making it possible to pay online safely through PayPal (below). By clicking the JOIN NOW button beneath your selected membership level, you can pay for annual membership. Current members can renew or upgrade their membership here as well.
You will be sent an acknowledgement of your payment as well as a welcome email letter. You will also then receive our e-newsletters, The Rampant Rag, which highlight upcoming meetings and events, as well as other news and plans. We also offer a discount to members who wish to rent our facility for a party, family reunion, or other occasion!
